The Women of Mormondom eBook Edward Wheelock Tullidge
The flowery language is very 1870 and I enjoyed the feel of that. It helps transport me to that time. The scenes of horrific trials of the pioneer women from their own journal accounts gave me a deeper appreciation for what those people went through from the mobs to the extermination order. A good portion of the book covers polygamy with testimonies of its divine truth followed by the rights of women. If you're looking for the mind-set of these women and the early church, it's a good representation.I'm happy with this purchase.

The Women of Mormondom eBook Edward Wheelock Tullidge Reviews
This is the seminal work on the great women pioneers who helped to restore the church of Jesus Christ to the earth. It not only contains the best and most athoritative reference to their history, journals and correspondence, it is also the most complete and athoritative docrinal work on the divine feminine, the matriarichal order and the nature of our Heavenly Parents. It was written under the close supervision of Eliza R Snow, the great mormon poetess. It is also the account of the first women to vote and enjoy full equality with men. It was therefore the first great work of feminist literature ever written! It is a clarion call to the women of the world to take their place as equal partners in leading the world out of darkness into light, and is a must read for anyone interested in mormon doctrine or Feminism.
It was an interesting book. I would have like it indexed better, but other than that it was excellent.
Received promptly and enjoying purchase.
Well written and informative.
Good, clean copy except for the problem with the book spine, not mentioned in the description or visible in the photo used by the seller. (Two stars for the seller not for this beautiful historic work.)
